COCONUT MILK KEFIR
- 500ml coconut milk (homemade or from a can)
- ¼ cup (60ml) water kefir
Put the coconut milk into a clean jar and add the water kefir, stir gently.
Leave in a warm place for 24hrs and then taste to see if the milk has fermented. You can leave this to ferment a little longer, it will just get more sour. You may find that it separates. This also seems to happen with the nut milks. Gently mix it together.
You can flavour this kefir, it is lovely with pureed fruits.
